81% of people say they want to write a book to
process their own story / experience OR to make a
difference to others.
Only 2% of people actually do it.
Therein lies the opportunity and the challenge.
Writing a book is a goal for many people, but few ever actually do it.
There are many reasons for this, but the two I hear most often from clients are these:
1. I don’t have time to write a book! I am busy already.
2. Who am I? Who cares what I have to say?
There are definitely barriers (both internal and external) to be overcome in order to be the contribution that you want to be in the world. Working with a book coach is a great way to get past the gremlins and get it done. YOU have something important to share (even if that snarky voice in your head tells you differently). No matter how busy you are, you will make time for what is important to you.
Whether it’s because you don’t feel like what you
have to say is important or worthwhile, or because
you’re just not sure how to approach the process.
You might want to tell your story, and just don’t
want to do the writing. There are countless reasons
why people often have that unborn draft still
waiting to be written.
CELESTE, coaching / writing client
Knowing what to say or how is just part of the
process. Tracy Maxwell has a host of services to help you get to uncover your story… and discover all the positive benefits that come with going through that process.
I’d like to think the work, the process and the end result speak for itself. Sometimes, though, it’s nice when clients also speak… about their experience. Here are a few notes from past and present clients.
Book Coach and Ghostwriter, I focus on helping you get clear, get organized and get writing so the ideas — and, ultimately, the book — truly blossom
